Where it all began…

I’m Kate, the face behind The Kitchen Pembrokeshire.

I’ve loved food and baking for as long as I can remember. Although I initially trained as a teacher, my kitchen continues to be my happy place.

In 2016 becoming a single mum of four amazing children, I needed a way to work from home and so I turned back to my love of delicious food and baking. My plan was to teach bread making from home but Lockdown put that plan on hold. Instead, I started producing home-cooked meals and afternoon teas to deliver around Pembrokeshire. Since then I have built a reputation for good quality, home cooking for local events.

My original dream was to run bread-making workshops bringing together my love of food and teaching, from my farmhouse kitchen in rural Pembrokeshire. Today, I absolutely love welcoming people (many returning for the second or third time!) into the kitchen to learn, share, and discover the joy of baking together.
